Best New Video Product: Atomos Samurai Blade
This is a product that every rental/staging company WILL buy and if you’re using DSLR cameras, you will want one too. The Atomos Samurai Blade is a 1280×720 touchscreen that allows for internal recording of 10-bit images shot with HD/SDI-output cameras — straight from the camera sensor directly to HDD or SSD drives, captured using Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD codecs.
