Igloo Vision and ESCO Partner to Provide Shared Immersive Workspaces Across Asia
CRAVEN ARMS & SINGAPORE, 8th September – Igloo Vision, the shared immersive workspace company, and ESCO, a regional technology provider of audio visual (AV) solutions and video conference systems, have entered into a partnership that means organisations across the Asia Pacific region can more easily incorporate Igloo’s immersive technology into their workspaces.
Operating across Southeast Asia, ESCO has offices in 13 countries and is headquartered in Singapore. As a leading systems integrator in the region, ESCO delivers workplace and collaboration technology solutions, including for clients such as Microsoft, Citi, UBS, Grab and many others. Now, as an Expert Partner in Igloo’s Partnership Programme, it has added Igloo’s immersive solutions to its portfolio.
Based in the UK, with offices in USA, Canada, and Australia, and a demo centre opened earlier this year in mainland Europe, Igloo Vision is a global leader in shared immersive workspaces. These workspaces come in many shapes, sizes, and degrees of sophistication, from simple sales and presentation suites to powerful CAVE-type solutions. They are available to be retrofitted in existing rooms, as custom-built configurations, or stand-alone pop-up structures.
They integrate with any digital content, and a wide range of everyday enterprise tools including standard video conferencing platforms, and allow teams to work with several different types of content, in different formats, from different sources, all at the same time. Companies that have installed Igloo immersive workspaces include Nike, Microsoft, FedEx, Deloitte, Diageo, and more.
Now, through the Igloo and ESCO partnership, these workspaces are more accessible to organisations in the APAC region looking to improve the way they collaborate. Even prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, more-and-more companies were becoming aware of the benefits to be had from immersive technology, particularly when groups can share the experience. The company’s shared immersive workspaces have also been recognised as facilitating hybrid working thanks to integrations with leading video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and more.
As well as making the solution itself more accessible, the partnership also means that customers who install Igloo immersive workspaces in the region have access to locally-provided service and support from ESCO.
“ESCO is a key partner for us in the APAC region and will further enable us to drive our goal of bringing shared immersive workspaces within the reach of any organisation,” said Pippa Halliday, Sales & Marketing Director at Igloo Vision. “We’re already working on several opportunities together and we’re pleased that our future clients will benefit from ESCO’s expertise and experience in delivering outstanding integrated solutions, and crucially, in supporting customers to get the most out of their installations.”
Sujith Sivaram, Managing Director at ESCO, said, “Igloo’s shared immersive technology is a natural addition to our portfolio of integrated solutions. We share several clients and work across the same markets, including enterprise, education, healthcare, and many more. We’re very excited to offer this innovative technology and address our clients’ needs for faster and smarter collaboration.”
