Hitachi America announced the introduction of its CP-AX2505, CP-AX3505, CP-AW2505 and CP-AW3005 LCD projectors — all ultra-short-throw 3LCD designs that feature 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The CP-AX2505 and CP-AX3505 are XGA1024x768 resolution and 2,700 and 3,600 ANSI lumens, respectively, while the CP-AW2505 and CP-AW3005 are WXGA 1280×800 resolution projectors with 2,700 and 3,300 ANSI lumens brightness.
Like most projectors these days, these models can display content from either a wired or wireless connection (using an optional available wireless adapter) using a computer, USB stick or A/V source. Inputs include two HDMI inputs, VGA and, USB Type A and USB Type B ports, a composite video input and audio inputs and outputs.
All four are Ultra Short Throw projectors that feature a “Template” function that makes writing on a whiteboard easier and an optional tabletop stand allows the projectors to project images directly onto a tabletop.
