GoTo Launches 100+ New Features for GoTo Connect, Targeting SMB Productivity and Customer Experience
GoTo on Tuesday unveiled more than 100 new features for its flagship GoTo Connect platform, introducing advanced omnichannel and AI-powered tools designed to help small and midsize businesses (SMBs) improve communication, simplify workflows and enhance customer engagement.
The updates include a revamped unified inbox, expanded mobile functionality and new communication channels such as WhatsApp. According to the company, the enhancements aim to reduce app-switching fatigue and streamline customer interactions across devices and platforms.
“These latest GoTo Connect advancements are designed to set a new standard for how businesses handle customer communications,” said Damon Covey, general manager of UCC at GoTo. “By unifying all communication channels into one intuitive, AI-powered platform, we’re empowering our customers to resolve issues faster, build stronger relationships, and provide a truly personalized experience no matter where they’re working.”
Among the updates:
- Unified Communications Platform: GoTo Connect now offers upgraded mobile features and an enhanced inbox interface, enabling users to manage conversations across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and more in a single view.
- AI Capabilities: The platform now includes tools to analyze agent conversations, identify speaker insights and key phrases, and support 24/7 call management.
- Admin Controls: Businesses can now manage products, edit audio clips, handle SMS messaging, and safeguard sensitive conversations through new admin tools designed for ease of use and minimal tech experience.
Robert Copeland, director of strategic initiatives at Versitech LLC, said GoTo Connect has helped the company support a broader range of customer preferences. “Some customers want to call, others prefer chat or text, and now we can meet everyone where they are—all from one platform,” he said.
GoTo also announced its upcoming digital event, GoFurther, scheduled for June 17, where the company will showcase innovations in IT and communications aimed at solving real-world business challenges.
