LAVNCH WEEK X Experiential Tech Day — Let’s Talk About It
I’m back for another LAVNCH WEEK recap — did you miss me?
If you missed out on Experiential Tech Day, you REALLY missed out because the sessions were fantastic, especially the “Crafting Immersive Journeys: Experience Design in the Audiovisual Realm” panel. Our presenters brought their A-game, sharing insights that gave us a clear look into the future of this ever-growing market.
First up was “Why You Need to Register for the DSE Show in December” with Gary Kayye and David Drain. They explained how digital signage is evolving into immersive environments, creating deeper connections with audiences. Key takeaway? Digital signage isn’t just about sharing information anymore; it’s about crafting immersive experiences that engage people in brand-new ways. We’re seeing a shift toward environments where digital signage plays a key role in shaping the customer journey.
Next, we had the longest panel of the day: “Crafting Immersive Journeys: Experience Design in the Audiovisual Realm” with Steph Beckett, Marcos Terenzio, Jackie Walker and David Title. The discussion covered topics ranging from user-centric design to creating truly engaging multi-sensory experiences.
“By incorporating more senses into the equation, we can hope to reach a larger audience, including accessibility for those without sight or hearing,” — Marcos Terenzio, Senior Director, Digital Experience at IA Interior Architects
If you’ve read this far, you’re clearly interested in the day’s sessions — so why are you still reading? Go watch it on demand! Seriously, it’s better than my writing. I’ll wait…
Okay, still here? Fine. I’ll share more about the rest of the day, but know that I’m disappointed in you.
After the panel, we had a quick but impactful session with Megan A. Dutta, Manolo Almagro and Blaine Brown on AI in Experiential Tech. They covered everything from AI-driven insights that enhance customer engagement to how AI-powered personalization can drive measurable ROI for brands. Oh, and ethical considerations for deploying AI? Yeah, they talked about that, too — but I’m not giving everything away. You’ll need to watch to get their take!
Our second-to-last session was an Experiential Tech Update with Megan A. Dutta, Jason Ault and Brandon Harp. They explored the most significant trends shaping the ProAV market, including how hybrid experiences are becoming the key to seamless transitions between physical and digital spaces.
“You’ve got to figure out a way to meet your audience where they are and then blend those elements together.” — Jason Ault, Co-Founder & COO at Coffman Media
Finally, we wrapped up with “The Misconception About Experiential Technology” featuring Mark Coxon. He clarified that experiential tech is not just about specific devices like LEDs or touchscreens — focusing on individual technologies misses the bigger picture.
That’s all from me! Now, imagine how great the full day was instead of just reading my summary. Head over to the LAVNCH platform and watch Experiential Tech Day on demand — you won’t regret it!
