DisplayNote Launches Powerful New Screen-sharing Tools That Put Displays at the Centre
Belfast Northern Ireland – DisplayNote has launched a major update to its screensharing solution, giving users brand new ways to control and share content from a large format display.
Enhancing visibility that makes displays more accessible
The latest version, which goes live on 15th July, enables users to stream what is on their display to either participant devices or to other large format displays.
Designed to address accessibility problems, such as poor or impaired visibility, DisplayNote’s new Broadcast feature enables educators to stream what’s showing on the front of room display to in-room devices at the touch of a button, making front of room content more accessible to everyone.
In addition to streaming content to in-room devices, this version goes one step further to putting displays at the heart of content sharing by enabling presenters and educators to stream content from a display to other DisplayNote enabled displays, whether they are in the same room or remote.
Control displays with devices
With in-room flexibility being of the utmost importance to classrooms and meeting spaces alike, the latest update to DisplayNote makes it easier for educators and presenters to present from anywhere through the addition of its new virtual remote control feature.
Using the latest version of the DisplayNote app enables users to see the interface of their display on their own device, turning that device into a helpful remote control that makes it possible to take full control of a display from anywhere in the room.
Commenting on the latest release, DisplayNote’s Head of Product Luke McSorley commented:

By putting the display at the core and thinking about how today’s users want to interact with it, we have created a release that we believe will make classrooms and meeting spaces more user friendly”.
