Da-Lite has announced its new Q-SYS plugin integration, the Da-Lite Screen Controller. As a contributor to the Q-SYS Ecosystem, Da-Lite collaborated with Q-SYS to create a market-ready control solution that integrates into Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video and control platform.

Da-Lite, a leading global producer of high-quality commercial and residential projection screens, designed the Screen Controller to allow remote control of screens via TCP/IP connection or RS-232 communication.

The Da-Lite Screen Controller plugin integrates control of screens through these connections, serving as an accessory for Da-Lite motorized projection screens with integrated low-voltage control or external low-voltage control systems.

The Screen Controller interface box provides comprehensive control options for configuration integrators or end users. It is powered by PoE and requires a connection to an Ethernet switch that provides PoE+ power (30W minimum). A web interface enables initial device setup, administrative control and operation.

The device is also compatible with the Vaddio Deployment Tool, which scans networks for Vaddio and Da-Lite devices, lists them by model and IP address, identifies unconfigured devices and provides the tools to complete setup. It also offers direct links to each device’s web interface.
