Catchbox Unveils Hub for Audio Processing and Wireless Mic Integration in Learning Spaces
Catchbox has expanded its lineup with a new addition designed for modern learning spaces. The new Catchbox Hub transforms a wireless mic receiver into a full-featured audio processing hub, delivering the power of a dedicated DSP, a 12-channel automixer and multi-platform connectivity in one compact, classroom-ready solution.
Part of the Catchbox Plus wireless microphone system, the Catchbox Hub serves as the central point for education spaces where audio complexity is increasing, but budgets and staffing are not. Supporting up to four Catchbox wireless microphones and up to 10 external audio sources over analog, USB and Dante, the Hub mixes, processes and routes audio for in-room amplification, conferencing, recording and assistive listening. By eliminating the need for an external DSP, the Catchbox Hub helps AV designers simplify setup and reduce costs.
Key features include:
- Separate DSP paths for smooth in-room and video conferencing audio with feedback suppression, auto-leveling, echo reduction and more.
- Flexible input options, supporting up to four Catchbox wireless microphones, four analog sources and 4×4 Dante™ channels for external sources like third-party mic systems.
- Custom-configurable output mixes for assistive listening, recording and conferencing.
- USB integration for seamless connection with software platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams or lecture capture tools.
- Centralized control and monitoring software for campus-wide AV scalability (coming soon).
