Chief Debuts Drive-Thru Menu Board System for Outdoor Displays in 1, 2 and 3 Display Configurations

chief

Chief, a brand of Legrand | AV, announced its new Chief Velocity Outdoor Pedestal System for single, dual, or triple display configurations. Designed for quick-service restaurant (QSR) drive-thru menu boards, the system supports 55-inch outdoor displays from Samsung and LG and is built to easily accommodate future expansion. The modular design reduces long-term cost of ownership, allowing end users to maximize their digital signage investment.

The Chief Velocity system is engineered for fast setup and requires only two people to install—no heavy-lift equipment needed, eliminating equipment rental costs. Simplified French cleat mounting provides quick, secure installation with lateral shift for zero bezel-to-bezel gaps. Faster installation translates to reduced drive-thru downtime and less lost revenue.

All system components ship on a standard 48-inch pallet, making delivery and handling easier, even at smaller receiving docks. The slotted base plate offers 15 degrees of rotational flexibility to optimize display positioning based on site-specific needs.

Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, the Velocity system features outdoor-rated finishes that meet UL 2442 Part 2 requirements. It includes galvanized steel construction with an outdoor-rated primer and powder coat, and it is compatible with top-tier outdoor displays from Samsung and LG.

The Chief Velocity Outdoor Pedestal System is available in three complete system SKUs and two modular inventory SKUs:

  • Chief Velocity Outdoor Single Pedestal System
  • Chief Velocity Outdoor Dual Pedestal System
  • Chief Velocity Outdoor Triple Pedestal System
  • Chief Velocity Pedestal Modular Frame
  • Chief Velocity Pedestal Modular Base

Optional accessories include:
