Biamp is shipping a new AV network switch, the NMS-NG26GPX-AVB (NETGEAR model M4250-26G4XF-POE+) is a pro-grade managed switch designed for 1G networked AV systems. The switch provides 26 1G ports and four 10G SFP+ ports that all support AVB and Dante. 24 of the ports are PoE+ capable with 480W of total power budget. The NMS-NG26GPX-AVB is preconfigured by Biamp with the AVB license; the company says it is out-of-the-box ready for networked AV systems.

Recommended applications for both the 10-port, and 26-port switches include large divisible rooms, multipurpose spaces, large houses of worship, lecture halls, courtrooms and auditoriums. They both are ideal to seamlessly integrate with its Cambridge Qt X sound masking solutions.
