Barix Launches Annuncicom 4000, a Professional Intercom/Paging System with Expanded Connectivity

Barix just announced the Annuncicom 4000, the successor to the Annuncicom 1000. The Annuncicom 4000 is an Audio over IP device designed to serve as an endpoint or gateway between IP-based intercom (VoIP/SIP or streaming) and traditional paging/intercom systems or an amplifier.

  • SIP VoIP client support
  • Barix IPAC firmware including SIP, HTTP and RTP support
  • Variety of audio codecs supported (e.g. AAC+, MP3, PCM, G.711, G.722, OPUS)
  • Internet security supported (HTTPS, SRTP, SIPS)
  • Low-voltage relays that can be activated via SIP call (DTMF)
  • Isolated dry contact inputs for error/ready/target selection
  • Dual line-level input/output (0 dBu, balanced)
  • Works with Informacast and Syn-Apps
  • Easily adaptable by Barix to specific protocol and functionality needs

Using a quad-core ARM7 processor and Linux operating system, the Annuncicom 4000 can be adapted to customer-specific functions or protocol needs.
