AV Hero Is Here to Save the Day
The AV Hero app continues to grow in customers and “HEROES” since its launch on March 21, 2020.
The app aims to provide on-demand AV services to businesses and residences in the U.S. by connecting organizations and individual consumers with certified AV technicians for audiovisual service and support. According to AV Hero, the platform is not intended to replace integration firms, but it supplements break-fix scenarios in both residential and commercial AV applications.
HEROES can sign up via the AV Hero website, take a technical assessment addressing audio, video and control, and pass a background check. Once approved, they can accept local customer audiovisual service and support requests that they have been pre-qualified for. Similarly, customers access AV Hero by signing up via the website — then they can explain their issue(s) in detail and finish by submitting a request to the AV Hero network.
As of May 15, 2020, more than 1,700 people have signed up to become an “AV HERO.”
