Almo Launches Cape Soleil Contract Collection of Outdoor Hospitality Furniture

Almo Hospitality has launched the Cape Soleil Contract Collection, a new brand of commercial outdoor furniture designed exclusively for the hospitality market and available only through Almo. All of the products in the Cape Soleil line are currently ready for quick ship delivery or can be custom-made in a variety of fabric and finish options to match the exact design specifications of a hotel property.

The Cape Soleil 2019 Contract Collection was officially launched in the Agio showroom at the Chicago Merchandise Mart on February 20. It will also be shown at the E4 AV Experience, a full day of hands-on education, product exhibits and networking for Almo resellers and their end users, taking place on March 12 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook, Ill.

Listen to a podcast interview about the Cape Soleil line with Glenn Haussman, president, Rouse Media & No Vacancy Podcast host, recorded during the Cape Soleil launch on Feb. 20, 2019. Glenn is also a featured speaker at the E4 AV Experience where he will talk about hotel technology and the customer journey.

Created for hoteliers, the Cape Soleil Contract Collection is designed to be indoor or outdoor and can be mixed and matched as desired. It features what Almo says is comfortable furniture that requires minimal maintenance and is constructed from lightweight materials that provide strength, weather and rust-resistance for long-term durability. In addition, Cape Soleil furniture uses UV-resistant contract fabrics from Sunbrella and Phifer to protect against fading and stand up to rigorous use in commercial environments.

According to Apryl Lamberti, director of business development, hospitality for Almo, “Hotels, restaurants and resorts rely on outdoor furniture to provide the best experience for guests by creating a calming, relaxing and inviting space that they can enjoy and remember.” She continued, “Almo has leveraged its strong vendor partnership with Agio, one of the largest design manufacturers globally for outdoor furniture to build upon this relationship to introduce the Cape Soleil line of contract quality furniture for the hospitality market. The Cape Soleil brand expands Almo’s offering to support resellers who may never have worked with furnishings to diversify relationships at the property level and strengthen their skill sets and capabilities for long-term growth and stability. And Almo stands behind the product with quick-ship availability, attentive customer service, a dedicated hospitality team and a commercial contract warranty.”

“Agio has been a leading supplier of outdoor furniture for more than 25 years, and we have enjoyed a very successful partnership with Almo,” said John Oppenheimer, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Agio. The time is right to build on this success as two thriving companies come together to launch the Cape Soleil line to the hospitality market. The Cape Soleil Furniture Collection features the best combination of Agio’s quality craftmanship, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and sustainable manufacturing processes with Almo’s strong relationships and specialization in the hospitality market space.”

The Cape Soleil Furniture Collection is available in a wide range of styles, finishes and materials that can be stand alone or be paired together. The Cape Soleil line includes tables, dining chairs, lounge seating, sofas and side tables and a variety of complimentary outdoor living essentials like fire pits, umbrellas, patio heaters, outdoor fans, misters, combined with outdoor TVs, mounts and sound bars from Peerless-AV.
