Epson Releases Q-SYS Certified Plug-In for Projector Control
Epson has introduced a Q-SYS Certified plug-in for its 3-chip 3LCD projector lineup, enabling integration with the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform.
Developed in collaboration with Q-SYS, the plug-in allows users to control Epson projectors from within the Q-SYS environment. Functions include input selection, audio volume and mute control, brightness adjustment, menu navigation and monitoring of connection status and input signals.
“Many of our customers deploy Q-SYS and the addition of a full-featured plug-in has been a long-standing request,” said Ramzi Shakra, senior product manager at Epson America. “Providing enhanced projector control within the Q-SYS environment enables integrators and IT professionals to better optimize AV system management.”
Geno Zaharie, senior director of alliances and ecosystem at Q-SYS, said the collaboration “will enable elevated experiences for the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform across our shared customers.”
The plug-in is available now for supported Epson projectors.
