KGEAR announced the latest addition to its GH series of loudspeakers, the GH8. Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the GH4, the GH8 includes a dual-cone, 8-inch full-range woofer with 129 dB SPL per single box.

One of the features of the GH8 is its integration of cardioid technology, which allows for “precise sound directionality,” minimizing unwanted noise and ensuring a focused audio experience. Whether used as a point-source box or configured into an array of up to eight units, KGEAR says the new GH8 is an ideal choice for a myriad of applications including both fixed installations, such as those in hospitality environments and live events.

The GH8 integrates with K-array Kommander amplifiers, offering “performance and sound quality through preset configurations,” increasing the choice of point-source solutions for immersive and distributed applications, while still allowing the possibility to create pure line arrays.
