BenQ Gets Distribution Deal with Google’s Collaboration Panel, Jamboard
BenQ America today announced it will exclusively bring to market Jamboard, a 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) touch-enabled device aimed at enhancing collaboration in the enterprise workplace.
Headlining BenQ’s portfolio of interactive flat panels (IFPs), the 55-inch Jamboard is part of Google’s collaboration line of products called G Suite — designed for conference room or huddle spaces or with a remote team via the integrated videoconferencing features. Basically, it’s a product that’s designed to compete with Microsoft’s Surface Hub, Smart Technologies’ SmartBoards as well as Sharp’s AQUOS BOARD line.
The fully integrated Jamboard will retail at a very competitive price point under $6,000 across the U.S. and Canada and will be available from select BenQ partners in Q1 2017. More information about Jamboard is available here or here.
