Viking Introduces X-35 Series SIP VoIP Phone System
Viking added to its access control products this week with the new X-35 Series, an HD video and voice SIP VoIP phone system.
Viking says the intercoms feature a built-in HD video camera with H.264 video compression, low light sensitivity and a wide viewing angle. Dual 1080p video streams can be viewed on a desktop monitor or IP video phone with data stored locally on an NVR or remotely with a cloud storage provider.
Viking claims a built-in auto dialer activates when the call button is pressed and will cycle through up to five pre-programmed phone numbers on busy signal or no answer. The intercoms feature an on-board relay with settings for access control, activating lights or triggering door chimes and other relay-activated devices.
The X-35 intercoms are PoE powered and connect using an RJ-45 connection with CAT-5e cable, according to the compnay. The units are ONVIF compliant and programmed via web UI. For outdoor applications, models are available with Enhanced Weather Protection designed to meet IP66 Ingress Protection Rating.
The X-35 Series features vandal-resistant flush mount chassis that are available in three different finishes: brushed stainless steel, oil-rubbed bronze or textured black.
