Vanco Launches TAA-Compliant HDMI and USB Cable Line for Government and Federal Projects
Vanco International has introduced a line of TAA-compliant HDMI and USB cables designed for use in federally funded or security-sensitive installations. The product line includes HDMI, USB Type-A to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-C cables in various lengths.
The TAA-compliant HDMI lineup includes the T255 “Performance Series” and the TPRHD “Pro Series.” The T255 supports HDMI 1.4 with 10.2Gbps data transfer, 4K resolution, ARC, 3D support and HDMI Ethernet Channel. It is available in 1-, 3- and 6-foot lengths.
The TPRHD Pro Series supports HDMI 2.0 with full 18Gbps bandwidth, 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, HDR, up to 32 audio channels and ARC, including Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio support. Pro Series cables are EMI-tested and offered in lengths from 1 to 20 feet.
Both HDMI series feature SecureFit connectors pull-tested up to 7 pounds.
Vanco’s TAA-compliant USB offerings include:
- TUS2AC Series: USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-C cables with up to 480 Mbps data transfer
- TUS2CC Series: USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C to Type-C cables with up to 5Gbps data and power delivery
- TUS3CC Series: USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C to Type-C cables with up to 10Gbps data transfer and high-speed charging
All USB cables are backward-compatible with earlier USB versions.
Under the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), products used in federally funded, military and many education projects must be made or substantially transformed in the U.S. or a TAA-designated country. Vanco’s new cables, manufactured in Laos, meet those compliance requirements.
