Robe Lighting, a Roznov, Czech Republic-based lighting manufacturer, has agreed to acquire Avolites, a manufacturer of lighting & video control products. The agreement was reached in the U.K. yesterday.

Robe said the acquisition of the Avolites business forms an important part of the strategic growth plan for the Robe business. Avolites will remain based in the U.K. and under the existing leadership team.
