Quantum Media Systems Unveils 8K DCI-Capable LED Wall for Residential Market
Quantum Media Systems has introduced the XDR4-8K Extreme LED Wall, an 8K Digital Cinema-compliant display designed for high-end residential applications.
The display automatically adjusts aspect ratios to match content, supporting formats including 2.39:1 Cinemascope, 2.0:1, 1.85:1 and 16:9 4K HD. The company said the feature preserves the director’s intent while accommodating sources such as streaming platforms, gaming consoles and DCI-compliant studio releases from the Bel Air Circuit.
The XDR4-8K Extreme LED Wall delivers native 8K resolution with HDMI 2.1 support, a 120Hz refresh rate, multi-image processing and full P3 color space coverage. It is rated at 2,000 nits of brightness and uses glare-free panels for performance in high ambient light environments.
