Powersoft Releases ArmoníaPlus 2.8 With Enhanced Usability and Support for Unica Touring Amps
Powersoft has released ArmoníaPlus version 2.8, introducing new usability features and support for its latest Unica 8T and Unica 4T touring amplifiers. The update is designed to streamline large-scale system configuration and simplify system design, tuning and device management.
Version 2.8 improves group assignment by highlighting associated group names in blue when a speaker is selected, enabling faster system navigation and verification. A new right-click “Replace With…” function allows users to swap devices while preserving DSP, network, and Dante settings.
Additional enhancements include improved preset configuration tools. Users can now view applied presets directly on speakers and edit EQ categories across multiple models simultaneously, as long as the configurations match.
A new Channel Strip Mode consolidates key tuning features — Gain, Mute, EQ, Delay and Polarity — into one interface. The update also merges Mute and Solo controls into a single page, with Solo mode offering both Exclusive and Additive options.
Other features include:
- Display read-only mode for Unica amplifiers in unattended systems
- Improved device selection and power management for eco-mode and quick on/off
- Stability fixes for better communication on busy networks
- Streamlined workflow, including the removal of the “Show” step and updated impedance monitoring in the “Tune” stage
The update aims to simplify setup and accelerate workflows for engineers working with Powersoft systems in live sound and installed environments.
