Planar and OptiTrack Unveil Advanced Broadcast & Mocap Tech at NAB 2025

Planar and OptiTrack are at NAB 2025 to showcase next-level storytelling with their leading-edge roster of broadcast and media technologies.

The companies are demonstrating the latest advancements in LED display and motion capture (mocap) technology, engaging audiences with dynamic, best-in-class image performance and unrivaled camera tracking accuracy. With a portfolio designed to deliver peak performance for broadcasters, support remote events with ease and flexibility, set new standards in display management, and track camera movement with precision, Planar and OptiTrack reinforce their positions as leaders in deploying one-of-a-kind applications for media and entertainment.

Attendees will experience a state-of-the-art virtual production volume designed for maximum flexibility with a multi-camera workflow. At the heart of the experience is a preview of a Planar® CarbonLight CLI Series LED video wall, specially designed to deliver top-tier performance and support multiple cameras in a fine pixel pitch. Featuring a 1.5 millimeter pixel pitch, the video wall offers exceptional on-camera performance with high brightness, a 240Hz frame rate, and advanced scan and refresh rates for seamless visuals. The setup will be complemented by a durable 1.5 millimeter pixel pitch LED floor.
