At TMT congress 2021 in Dusseldorf, the German manufacturer Pan Acoustics demonstrated solutions for high-performance sound systems in conference and meeting spaces. Selected models from  Pan Speaker and Pan AMT series can be custom-tailored to exactly match in size with the room display for best design. The P 04-AMT speakers, shown at the congress, are equipped with an Air  Motion Transformer (AMT) “Made in Germany“ for the lowest audio distortion and best high-frequency reproduction.

As a new product the Design Subwoofer P SW-108 RJ was introduced the first time. The passive, direct-radiating 8“ subwoofer offers the ideal low-end frequency supplement for rooms with requirements for high quality, full-range audio reproduction and extends the 2.1 sound system down to frequencies of 30 Hz. With 109dB maximum SPL the new subwoofer is no merely usable in meeting spaces. With an impedance of only 4 Ohms, the subwoofer is designed to work ideally with small PoE conferencing amplifiers.

With CAT straight to the Speakers 

Another product introduction had been the new speaker input option “RJ” for fast and tool-less cabling.  Standard CAT wires from IT infrastructure become a speaker cable! Instead via traditional screw-terminal connectors, speakers with the new RJ option can be directly connected via RJ45 to compatible  PoE amplifiers (eg Tesira AMP450-BP), as well via available adapters to any standard amplifier.

The advantages are clear: Tool-less installation down to the speaker via CAT as well as the use of ubiquities available structured IT cable infrastructure. 

The RJ feature is available for the compact 2-way speakers P 02-Pi (RJ) and P 04-AMT (RJ) as well as for the line source P 04-Pi (RJ) which are all ideal for use in conference spaces or for local sound reinforcement in a building. Also, the new Subwoofer P-SW 108 comes with the RJ option built-in as a  standard. The new speakers are available immediately.
