Opus Technologies exports French know-how at InfoComm 2025
Martillac, April 27, 2025 – Made in France technology opens up to new horizons. Opus Technologies, a French brand specializing in audio accessibility solutions, will be taking part for the first time in InfoComm 2025, to be held from June 11 to 13 in Orlando, USA. This must-attend event for audiovisual professionals will be an opportunity for Opus to showcase its innovations and raise its profile in the North American market.
Founded in 2016, Opus Technologies designs and assembles its products in France, with a focus on quality, performance and compliance with standards.
This participation by Opus Technologies in InfoComm is part of a dynamic of export growth and accompanies the launch of the new Aura by Opus range, dedicated to assistive listening systems based on the new Auracast™ technology. This initiative marks an important step in the expansion of Opus Technologies’ international presence.
Auracast™: the shared audio revolution
Auracast™ is an emerging technology stemming from Bluetooth LE Audio, which enables an audio stream to be broadcast to an unlimited number of compatible receivers, such as hearing aids, headphones, earphones etc. This innovation promises to dramatically improve the hearing experience in public places for hearing-impaired people, by making it easier to access sound.
This technology paves the way for a universal sound experience, which will also benefit the hearing impaired (better listening quality in noisy environments, multilingual broadcasting) and the visually impaired, via descriptive audio content.
Simple to use, the system operates like a Wi-Fi access point: users select the Auracast™ stream of their choice from their mobile device, and their device receives the audio signal directly. This innovation thus promises to transform listening in public places, making it clearer, more personalized and truly inclusive.
With the new Aura range, Opus Technologies anticipates this revolution and offers solutions tailored to the new demands of accessibility and audio comfort.
