OnAir Solutions has acquired the Australian operations of Sonifex, doubling its resources and expanding its reach in product distribution and system integration services. The merger became effective July 1, 2025.

As part of the transition, OnAir Solutions will relocate to Sonifex Australia’s existing office in Hornsby, Sydney. The combined business will operate under the Sonifex Australia trading name for exclusive distribution of Sonifex products.

“I’ve known the Sonifex team for a long time, and this was a perfect fit to grow both businesses,” said Paul Dengate, managing director of OnAir Solutions. “We have a complementary product range, and I am excited to bring on new vendors Nautel, Orban and Tieline, as well as existing shared brands like Sonifex and Inovonics.”

Karen Olliver has been appointed general manager of the OnAir Solutions Group. “It will be business as usual for clients and suppliers,” she said. “We’ll continue to offer the exceptional level of service and support our customers expect — now with a larger group of brands and products.”

Marcus Brooke, CEO of Sonifex Ltd, endorsed the move. “We’ve worked closely with OnAir Solutions for more than a decade on projects for ABC and other major broadcasters,” he said. “I can’t think of a better company to take over our Australian operations.”

Websites, phone numbers and email contacts will remain unchanged. Customers and suppliers will receive further information in the coming days.
