Nureva Previews HDX Series Adaptive Audio Systems for Larger Spaces at InfoComm 2025
Nureva Inc. has announced the HDX pro audio series, a new line of adaptive audio systems designed for large classrooms, corporate training rooms and meeting spaces up to 60 by 40 feet. The HDX series expands the company’s V Series lineup with added features for in-room sound reinforcement and conferencing support.
The HDX series is intended to address growing demands on IT departments to provide audio solutions that go beyond standard microphone coverage, including support for media playback, voice amplification, lesson capture and AI integration. Nureva says the system is designed for IT staff to install and maintain without the need for specialized training.
Each HDX configuration includes two or four wall-mounted audio bars and one or two optional microphone pods. A central system hub connects components via a single AV-over-IP cable. The audio bars provide full-room speaker coverage, while Adaptive Voice Lift automatically adjusts voice amplification based on speaker location without requiring handheld or wearable microphones.
Nureva’s Microphone Mist technology underpins the system’s audio coverage. The platform creates a unified microphone array across all components, automatically adapting to changes in room layout. Audio processing includes support for voice lift, voice amplification, and assistive listening via Auracast™ broadcast. A 32 GB internal storage option enables audio capture for lectures or meetings.
The HDX system is compatible with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Zoom’s AI Companion. Voice detection distinguishes human speech from ambient sounds to improve camera tracking, while noise suppression targets non-verbal distractions such as chair movement and paper rustling.
Installation is designed to be straightforward. The components mount on walls or standard ceiling rails and connect to the system hub with single cables. Setup and configuration are managed through Nureva’s web-based configuration tool, with no external programming required. An acoustic analysis app is available for iOS to assist with optimizing bar placement and measuring room reverb and noise levels.
The HDX system is constructed with sustainability in mind, incorporating 30% post-consumer recycled plastic, 95% recycled fabric, and packaging made from 99% recyclable materials. Foam inserts have been replaced with molded pulp to reduce environmental impact and shipping waste.
HDX systems will be available to order in October 2025, with shipping scheduled for February 2026. Attendees can preview the system at InfoComm 2025 in booth #4269.
