NSCA Opens Entries for Revamped 2025 Excellence in Product Innovation Awards
The National Systems Contractors Association is now accepting entries for its 12th annual Excellence in Product Innovation awards, with an all-new format aimed at spotlighting solutions that help integrators navigate today’s rapidly changing technology landscape.
The 2025 awards will be presented at NSCA’s Excellence in Business Operations (XBO) Experience, scheduled for Oct. 28-29 in Austin, Texas. In previous years, winners were announced during the group’s Business & Leadership Conference.
For the first time, the awards program has been overhauled to better reflect the current state of commercial integration. Categories now fall under six key divisions, with 25 winners to be selected across areas such as AI and automation, recurring revenue enablement, cybersecurity, platform integration and next-gen innovation.
“We’ve evolved the Excellence in Product Innovation awards this year to better reflect the innovations that drive the industry forward,” said Tom LeBlanc, NSCA executive director. “Our updated categories ensure that we recognize not only breakthrough products but also solutions that solve critical business and operational challenges. Our goal is to honor innovations that empower integrators to deliver more value to their clients.”
Among the updated award divisions:
- AI & Intelligent Automation, highlighting tools that enhance AV, security and signage through artificial intelligence.
- Recurring Revenue & Service Enablement, which recognizes technologies that drive sustainable contracts and support offerings.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Mitigation, rewarding products that strengthen system protection across education and enterprise.
- Next-Gen Innovation, focusing on emerging tech like AR/VR/XR and wireless networking.
Manufacturers may submit products launched after July 1, 2024, that are expected to ship by Dec. 31, 2025. Early-bird pricing is available through Aug. 21, and NSCA members are eligible for additional discounts.
Winners will receive on-stage recognition at XBO, a feature in NSCA’s quarterly Integrate magazine, and coverage across NSCA and partner platforms, including Commercial Integrator and Security Sales & Integration.
