The All-NEW E4 Experience was a GIANT Hit

Over 600 People traveled through the doors of the all-new Almo ProAV E4 Experience (formerly E4 AV Tour). And, they didn’t just come for the 45+ exhibitors who all showed new products, they didn’t just come for my AV-over-IP Keynote, they didn’t just come for the SDVoE Alliance or DSF (Digital Signage Federation) Certification Courses, they didn’t just come for the free breakfast and lunch and they didn’t just come for the 12 AVIXA CTS RU’s – they came for it all. Oh, and by the way, the only other place on the planet to get 12 CTS RU’s in the same day is at either InfoComm or ISE.

Case in point: The very first classes, the SDVoE Certification and the Windows Collaboration Display (WCD) courses started at 7:30am – and they were standing-room only. The SDVoE course had 47 pre-registered and 54 showed up. The WCD class had 27 pre-registered and 37 showed up – at 7:30am in Chicago! And, for my 9AM keynote (All About AV-over-IP) there were 458 chairs in the room and there were less than 20 empty seats. The show floor was packed all day. I gave two “guided tours” using the Listen Technologies ListenTALK system (which, I must say, is AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME) and BOTH of them were FULL – 30 people on both tours. But, it didn’t stop there. I had the fortune (or, unfortunate, some might say) of teaching the last class of the day (Kayye’s Krystal Ball – AV Predictions for 2019) AFTER the show floor closed – at 3pm. As you know, when a show ends, people usually leave. But, my 3pm class had 50 chairs in it and 6 were empty. That mean, 44 people stayed an hour after the inaugural E4 Experience ended!

I’ve heard there are other Distributors that put on product AV Tours, but, really, the E4 Experience set-a-new-bar. Just ask Peerless-AV’s Brian McClimans, Barco’s Kurt DeYoung, SDVoE’s Justin Kennington, LG’s Daryl Seese or Avocor’s Annie Sunseri – they were all there. Ask them what they think of the quantity and QUALITY of the E4 Experience attendance. I will GUARANTEE you that none of them will say any distributor’s show is better and I can guarantee you that you won’t find any of the 600+ attendees that went to this week’s event will say they’ve ever been to a better distributor show.

Oh, and the E4 Experience is heading to Southern California – Costa Mesa to be exact – on April 5th. Register here: www.e4experience.com
