Neutrik Americas has launched the NAUSBC-5G-FL series of USB Type-C 5G chassis connectors, expanding its professional connectivity portfolio with a D-size design that integrates high-speed data transfer, robust power delivery and simplified installation.

The new connectors feature integrated fly-lead patch cables on the rear, available in four variations with lengths ranging from 10 to 25 centimeters (3.9 to 9.8 inches). Each model supports 5 Gbps data transmission (USB 3.1 Gen 1) and 100 W (20 V/5 A) power transfer in accordance with the USB Power Delivery 3.1 specification.

By incorporating the fly-lead patch cable into the chassis connector itself, Neutrik eliminates the need for an additional passive connection, simplifying installation and integration. The integrated design helps ease installation and reduce system complexity, according to Neutrik.

Built for demanding AVL and control environments, the NAUSBC-5G-FL’s rugged D-size form factor makes it suitable for rack systems, embedded control units, mobile production setups and charging applications. The front side accepts standard USB Type-C patch cables, while the connector housing features a UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant rating and UV-resistant materials for long-term reliability. Halogen-free cable materials further enhance safety in indoor installations.

The four model variations include the NAUSBC-5G-FL10 (10 cm fly-lead), NAUSBC-5G-FL15 (15 cm), NAUSBC-5G-FL20 (20 cm) and NAUSBC-5G-FL25 (25 cm).
