Sharp Refreshes Professional Projector Line With New A and V Series LCD Laser Models

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has expanded its professional projector portfolio with the launch of the A Series (XP-A824U, XP-A104U, XP-A155U, XP-A175U) and V Series (XP-V731U, XP-V801U) LCD laser projectors. The models are designed to deliver bright, high-quality visuals and flexible installation options for a wide range of commercial and educational environments.
Each projector features WUXGA native resolution with 4K input support, delivering sharp, vivid images even in spaces with ambient light. The new models combine flexible lens options with installation versatility, catering to applications in classrooms, boardrooms and auditoriums.
The A Series is built for high-brightness performance, ranging from 8,200 to 17,000 lumens. Each model uses Sharp’s proprietary video processing and scaling chip along with a dual blue laser system for enhanced color accuracy and image clarity. The series also features an IP5X-rated Sealed LCD cooling system that prevents dust intrusion, allowing for consistent performance and near maintenance-free operation.
The V Series, which includes the 7,300-lumen XP-V731U and 8,000-lumen XP-V801U, offers affordability and flexibility. Both models are compatible with legacy NEC lenses, enabling integrators to reuse existing optics and reduce upgrade costs.
Both series share several advanced features such as geometric correction for projecting on irregular surfaces, edge blending for multi-projector displays, and Roll Free orientation that allows installation at virtually any angle. Constant Brightness mode maintains consistent light output over time, while Sharp’s NaViSet Administrator 2 software enables centralized control and monitoring. Multi-display TileMatrix technology supports high-resolution tiled displays, and the ProAssist management platform allows for detailed image adjustments remotely.
“With this rebrand, Sharp is giving customers the ability to choose the exact performance and integration features they need,” said Ryan Pitterle, senior product manager for projectors at Sharp. “The A Series delivers dust-free reliability and extreme brightness for large, demanding spaces, while the V Series maximizes flexibility with lens compatibility and new ultra-short throw options. Together, they provide purpose-built solutions that ensure exceptional projection in any environment.”
The new projectors include a five-year or 20,000-hour (whichever comes first) limited parts and labor warranty. More information is available at sharpnecdisplays.us.
