L-Acoustics Unveils Audio Innovation Ecosystem at London Keynote

L-Acoustics introduced a new suite of audio technologies last week at its Keynote 2025 event, held at the Roundhouse Theatre. The invitation-only gathering brought together clients, partners and press from 40 countries to preview a series of products and services designed to advance live sound production.
The announcements centered on a new ecosystem organized around three core areas: Source, System and Space.
Under the Source category, the company revealed L-Acoustics DJ, a tool aimed at transforming stereo DJ sets into immersive, multidimensional soundscapes. The product is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2025.
In the System category, L-Acoustics announced several developments, including:
- LA1.16i, a 16-channel amplified controller designed for installations in hospitality, retail and residential settings. The 1U unit is intended for near-field applications and will be available this summer.
- Soundvision Connect, a cloud-based version of the company’s 3D modeling software that launches in July. It enables stakeholders to visualize and collaborate on technical audio designs.
- L-ISA 2025, an update to the company’s immersive audio technology, introduces Sound Spaces, a new feature allowing multiple spatial environments to be managed in a single session.
- A Certified Pre-Owned Program for K1 systems, offering refurbished products with warranty, training and system certification.
“Soundvision Connect transforms how technical audio designs are shared and understood by all stakeholders,” said Ryan John, director of product management, software at L-Acoustics.
Under the Space category, the company announced:
- Environmental System Design, a consulting service to help rental providers work with local authorities and event organizers to minimize sound impact on surrounding communities.
- Updates to Ambiance, the company’s active acoustics system, with improvements in spatial resolution and integration with the LA1.16i controller.
“Live events must balance exceptional audience experiences with respect for surrounding communities,” said Asher Dowson, director of product management, services at L-Acoustics.
The keynote featured a live performance by Max Cooper and emphasized the company’s continued focus on aligning artistic intent with engineering precision and venue optimization.
L-Acoustics was founded in 1984 and has audio technologies installed in more than 13,000 venues globally.
