Kramer Intros the 612T, 612R 4K60 4:4:4 DP Transmitter/Receiver Over Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cable
Kramer Electronics’ 612T and 612R is a compact fiber optic transmitter and receiver set capable of extending uncompressed DisplayPort 1.2 signals over fiber optic cable. This set of extenders supports 4K@60 (4:4:4) resolution up to 656 feet (200 meters) on a dual LC multi-mode fiber cable. The new 612 transmitter and receiver also includes a maximum data rate of 21.6Gbps.
The 612 transmitter and receiver can be easily and securely connected via a 2LC fiber connector and powered either from the USB connector or from the DisplayPort interface. The compact design of the 612T and 612R makes it easy for plug and play installations.
