Jabra Delivers Free Firmware Update to PanaCast 50 VBS, Adds Permanent BYOD Mode
Jabra has introduced new firmware updates for the PanaCast 50 VBS, providing IT administrators and facility managers with enhanced deployment options and greater meeting flexibility. The updates enable Permanent BYOD mode, allowing users to manage meetings directly from a PC and adapt to different room configurations.
The latest update also introduces Wi-Fi connectivity, giving IT teams the ability to deploy and connect the PanaCast 50 VBS in any space with a wireless network.
All Jabra PanaCast Android video bars, including the PanaCast 50 VBS and the upcoming PanaCast 40 VBS—expected to launch in mid-2025 — are Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP)-based solutions, ensuring flexible deployment and enhanced security.
Additionally, new features aim to improve meeting productivity. Intelligent Meeting Space allows users to personalize virtual meeting boundaries, reducing outside distractions — especially in glass-walled rooms — by keeping the focus on in-room participants.
