Harrison Audio has introduced the D510 500 Series System, a modular setup built around the new 10-slot D510r rack and designed to serve as a versatile audio production hub. The system supports a range of use cases, including studio centerpiece, portable rig, and live sound tool.

The D510r rack is compatible with a growing line of Harrison 500 series modules, including the 32Cpre+ microphone preamp, MR3eq parametric equalizer and Comp compressor. Optional add-ons include the D510mx 10×2 analog summing mixer and the D510Dante audio-over-IP interface. A USB and ADAT interface card, the D510usb, is also in development.

When configured with the D510mx summing mixer, the system provides level and pan control per channel and dual headphone outputs with independent blend control. The mixer can pull from installed 500 series modules or, with the Dante interface, from sources on an AoIP network.

Harrison says the modular system allows users to build custom configurations — from portable tracking rigs to compact summing mixers — within a 3U rack space.
