Green Hippo Begins Shipping TEKA MX 1U Media Server
Green Hippo has begun shipping the TEKA MX, a compact 1U media server that is part of its new Hippotizer MX Series. The TEKA MX is designed for smaller live productions and supports up to 4K resolution without output splitting restrictions.
The unit includes 2TB of internal storage and comes preloaded with a library of stock content, including 10-bit NotchLC clips. It can also be configured with optional capture cards, network cards, and GPU upgrades.
The full Hippotizer MX Series is now available. The lineup includes five models that support 10-bit video playback, SMPTE 2110 and IPMX workflows, and customizable output configurations. All models feature swappable media drives, rear-chassis illumination, an OLED display, and options aimed at touring professionals, designers, and systems integrators.
