Smart home security, control and automation manufacturer Nortek Security & Control LLC has announced the release of the new Samsung Display Driver for its ELAN control system at CEDIA Expo 2019 this week in booth #2013.

The new driver allows dealers to easily control Samsung displays via IP, with compatible models including “The Frame,” “The Wall Luxury” and “The Wall Pro.”

According to ELAN Project Manager Larry Cramp, dealers will benefit from the partnership with a more seamless integration experience.

“It’s now possible to easily integrate the ELAN system with Samsung displays over the network, with the added convenience of directly accessing the displays’ internal smart sources,” Cramp said. “Besides the expected power, source, and volume-type controls, dealers will also have direct access to controls like picture modes, calibration, navigation and more.”
