Datapath Adds New 4K Graphics Card for Video Wall, LED Display Application

Datapath has debuted the Image2K, ironically, a 4K graphics card with multiple outputs aimed at simplifying video wall applications using LED displays. Datapath’s Image2K can mix 4K and HD outputs, all at 60 frames per second, using Datapath’s VSN or iolite 600 chassis — and they both can use up to eight Image2K cards for up to 32 HD outputs, 16 4K outputs or a mix of the two.

With outputs synchronized across all cards, this allows the possibility of powering multiple video walls and single-screen displays from a single system — designed for security, corporate office displays, retail signage or video wall applications. An industrial-grade, low-noise fan is integrated alongside the heat sink to ensure optimal operating temperature and efficiency is maintained at all times.

Connectivity is provided by four HDMI outputs, capable of 2560×1600@60fps resolution. Users can also configure this as two 3840×2160@60, or one 3840×2160@60, and three HD (1920×1080@60) from the same card. The Image2K also supports 7680×1080@60 — a solution for long billboard LED displays found in control rooms, sports stadiums and airports.
