Christie Extends Flat Panel LCD Lineup

Christie FHD554-XZ-H

Christie extended its flat panel LCD lineup Monday with two new 55-inch Extreme Series flat panels and a 98-inch flat panel.

The 55-inch flat panels, dubbed the FHD554-XZ-H and FHD554-XZ-HR, have 0.44-millimeter (combined .88-mm gap)  narrow bezels and are TAA-compliant. Plus, they’re 4K at 60Hz delivery.

The Extreme Series flat panels are aimed at: military/government installations; utility and other mission-critical control rooms; and visualization labs requiring the latest intelligent design electronics, advanced performance and video wall optimization. The flagship of Christie’s Extreme Series, the FHD554-XZ-H and its HR sibling, are equipped with HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 connectivity and an OPS slot to accept a variety of processing modules (including Christie Phoenix) for a complete solution package.

The FHD554-XZ-HR is Christie’s remote power model that provides improved reliability while delivering mission-critical uptime and redundancy capabilities. For customers wanting an ultra-slim profile for their video wall, the FHD554-XZ-H/HR combined with Christie’s ML25 mount can provide a total depth of fewer than four inches, complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Here’s a video of the FHD554-XZ-H from ISE 2020:

The 98-inch panel, the SUHD983-P, is part of Christie’s Secure Series. It can be installed in either portrait or landscape mode. It includes advanced input connectivity supporting up to 8K content. Four separate content-filled windows can be displayed simultaneously, making it ideal for collaboration rooms and visualization labs where multiview, no-compromise visuals are critical. It’s also suitable for environments with secure video transmission requirements.

The SUHD983-P also has multisource viewing and scaling, eliminating the need for an external processor in the most common use cases.
