BTX and Visionary Solutions to Display Classroom Solutions at TCEA Show

BTX_Logo-0413HAWTHORNE, N.Y. — January 27, 2015 —  BTX Technologies, a value-added distributor and manufacturer of interface, integration, and system products, announced today that they will join Visionary Solutions, US manufacturer of IPTV products, at the Texas Computer Education Association (TSEA) show in Austin, Texas, February 4th through 6th in booth 2484. Together they will display classroom technologies that will provide both teachers and students the tools needed for an improved and exciting educational environment.

BTX and Visionary Solutions will be demonstrating IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) live in the booth throughout the show. This solution is ideal for allowing content produced within the school system, such as sporting events or educational videos, to be shown in real time or recorded and stored for on-demand playback. Broadcast channels, such as CNN or PBS, can be easily added to the channel lineup instead of having a cable box in each classroom. Additionally, IPTV can turn any classroom into a source or destination for distance learning, allowing students who cannot attend classes to feel connected to their school by watching both live and recorded lessons.

“As the technology and the tools students are familiar with change, so should the technology in their classroom experience,” says Andrew Lemert, Sr. Vice President of Visionary Solutions, Inc.  “Children are often equipped with iPads and these are a perfect complement to BYOD solutions.  BTX and Visionary both have products to support and grow with these improved learning environments.”

In addition to IPTV, BTX will showcase products and solutions that provide teachers and administrators a host of tools for improving classroom functionality. Products featured will include:  REACH’s Lecture Capture solution, Mersive’s Collaboration software and Atlona’s CLSO multi-format switcher, which guarantees compatibility between a source device and a display, up to 4K resolution.

“Education is an expansive market that is changing and embracing today’s reliance on technology. Visionary Solutions and BTX have a multitude of offerings to grow with schools and universities’ technology demands, making sure that limited budgets get the maximum benefit,” explained Greg Schwartz, President of BTX. “Attendees at TCEA will be able to see and understand these classroom solutions that are readily available through BTX and our integration partners.”

BTX and Visionary Solutions will also be at the InfoComm Connections show in San Jose, California in March in booth #629.
