Brad Schiller has joined GLP to lead its newly formed Lighting Technology Engagement Team. He will be based out of the company’s Americas headquarters in Los Angeles, with his home base in Austin, Texas.

With a decades-long career in lighting innovation, Schiller has played a key role in the development of technologies now common across the industry. He is also a noted author of several lighting industry books and articles, including The Automated Lighting Programmer’s Handbook and Living the Lighting Life. Most recently, he was a featured speaker at the Showlight Quadrennial in Dijon, France.

“I couldn’t be happier that Brad has decided to join GLP,” said GLP director Mark Ravenhill. “He is an industry legend with a stature, reputation and knowledge that will make him the perfect fit in GLP, where we pride ourselves on relationships and our reputation above all else.”

As director of lighting technology engagement, Schiller will lead the team focused on working closely with designers, programmers, specifiers and current — and future — users of GLP products.
