Bogen Vice President John Minnick Retires, Engineering Center Dedicated in His Honor
Bogen Communications announced that longtime Vice President of Engineering John Minnick retired July 8, 2025, after 12 years with the company.
In recognition of his contributions, Bogen has dedicated the John Minnick Engineering Center at its Orlando office.
Minnick led the development of new products that expanded Bogen’s technology portfolio and strengthened its market position. Under his leadership, the company introduced its Nyquist IP-based paging and intercom systems, which grew rapidly to surpass sales of legacy systems and established Bogen as a leader in IP-based audio solutions.
“John’s vision and leadership were instrumental in redefining our engineering strategy and implementation,” said Jonathan Guss, chief executive officer of Bogen Communications. “He assembled an innovative team that reimagined our intercom, paging and public address solutions. By creating software-centric platforms that operate over industry-standard IP networks, John enabled faster development cycles, improved scalability and solutions that are easier for integrators to deploy.”
Before joining Bogen, Minnick oversaw the development of more than 100 technology products across consumer, commercial and defense sectors. His career also included work in strategic partner development, intellectual property licensing, cost reductions and global manufacturing operations.
