Biamp Announces Zoom Rooms Certification for Parlé VBC 2800 and Vidi 280
Biamp announced that its Parlé VBC 2800 Conferencing Bar and Vidi 280 Conferencing Camera are now Zoom Rooms Certified. The Parlé VBC 2800 is an all-in-one video bar with a built-in camera and is approved for rooms of all sizes, including large spaces. It features a dual-camera system with a 120-degree horizontal field of view, up to 16x digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel image sensor. The Vidi 280 includes the same camera technology in an ePTZ camera.
Both devices feature dual 4K UHD ePTZ camera systems with AI auto-framing. The Parlé VBC 2800 integrates Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and AI Noise Reduction, using a 27-microphone array with Biamp Beamtracking technology to actively track and mix conversations from around the room. Two smart speakers use distortion compensation and dynamic bass enhancement for room-filling audio with clear speech reproduction.
For a simplified setup, the Vidi 280 is a compact, stand-alone conferencing camera designed to mount around a display. It features a built-in five-element microphone array but can also be paired with the Parlé ABC 2500 conferencing audio bar in standard mounting scenarios or the Parlé CBC 2500 for open-ceiling environments.
