Barco Expands Laser Projection Portfolio With New XDM and XDX RGB Projectors
Barco has expanded its laser projection portfolio with a pair of RGB projectors, the XDM and XDX. Just like its UDM and UDX projectors, the new portfolio members can be managed through Barco’s cloud-based Projector Management Platform with remote health condition monitoring. The projectors are aimed at theaters and theme parks. Features of the new projectors include:
- Both projectors exceed the Rec. 2020 color spectrum requirement
- Native 4K resolution
- High Frame Rate (HFR) and High Dynamic Range (HDR)
- Optimized cooling
- A lifetime of up to 40,000 hours
- Sealed optics
- Wide range of lens options
- fourteen high-brightness and five high-contrast variants with ratios ranging from an ultra-short throw 0.38:1 to a long throw 11:1
