AUO Display Plus (ADP) intends to make an acquisition of Avocor Technologies. The AUO announcements stated that the parties are now in the process of finalizing the detailed terms and conditions of the proposed acquisition and will “work diligently” to reach an agreement on the final terms.

AUO Display Plus, a subsidiary of AUO Corporation (AUO), says it specializes in OEM displays used in education, enterprise, retail, healthcare and transportation. Avocor is a collaboration board manufacturer. According to the companies, the goal of the combined company would be to build a better display ecosystem, accelerating the development of smart education and enterprise sectors for AUO Display Plus.

AUO’s announcement said the acquisition, once completed, “will position Avocor for long-term growth and stability, providing a robust platform for enhanced developments in display technology.”

Since 2022, the leadership teams of AUO, ADP and Avocor say they have worked closely together to lay the
groundwork for a seamless transition. As part of the agreement, Avocor CEO Scott Hix will assume the
role of GM of AUO Education and Enterprise Business Group and CMO of ADP, bringing his expertise and
leadership to the new structure.
