Atlona Education Market Strategy Brings Company to UBTech Conference

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 17, 2017 — Atlona’s commitment to the education market continues to grow with its first official appearance as an exhibitor at UBTech, an annual conference and trade show that focuses on higher education technology leadership. Taking place June 12-14 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, the event provides Atlona with an opportunity to showcase how its latest collaboration and control solutions – and its recently-launched Atlona Education Program (AEP) – will help colleges and universities evolve the way students, faculty and staff apply and manage AV technology across learning environments.

Cloud-based control will be a key focus at the Atlona booth (607), where the company will unveil its Velocity solution to a large audience of education professionals. Additionally, Atlona will showcase its AT-UHD-SW-510W, a single, compact 4K/UHD solution with universal BYOD compatibility. The AT-UHD-SW-510W is the first system of its kind to integrate switching for both wired and wireless AV sources. Atlona will also demonstrate other education-friendly solutions that set the company apart, including soft codec videoconferencing solutions for interoperability with Skype, BlueJeans and similar tools.

“UBTech has taken the lead of communicating how technology affects student learning, and how institutions can apply these technologies to benefit educational success,” said Joel Carroll, business development manager, education markets for Atlona. “With the launch of our AEP initiative and our latest collaboration and control products, Atlona is a valuable resource to help institutions address the challenges they face. UBTech is the premiere venue to meet and interact with this audience.”

AEP is perhaps what makes Atlona stand apart from its competitors in the education market the most. It establishes a partnership between Atlona, education technology managers, instructors and administrators, giving them the inside edge they seek on Atlona technology and services. Through AEP, Atlona will be the go-to resource to help them navigate the ever-evolving AV solutions that benefit campus-wide classroom instruction, collaboration, and support.
