i-PRO Americas has introduced a new panic button system designed to help K–12 schools respond more quickly and effectively during classroom emergencies.

The system, called ClassSecure, includes a wall-mounted button that allows educators to discreetly alert law enforcement and school staff during a crisis. When pressed, the system also activates a dedicated classroom camera, giving responders a real-time view of the situation.

i-PRO says the system is designed to balance privacy and safety. The cameras remain concealed and non-operational under normal conditions. During an emergency, the camera activates to provide a full classroom view to first responders and school officials.

The system runs on the NovoTrax life safety platform, which integrates with existing security tools to provide real-time incident management. Features include automated door locking, centralized communication, and live situational visibility.

According to the company, ClassSecure can be installed as a standalone panic button or as part of a larger safety system. It is compatible with body-worn cameras and additional video surveillance tools.

The product is compliant with Alyssa’s Law, which requires silent panic alarms in schools to improve response times during emergencies. The law has been adopted in several U.S. states.

ClassSecure is now available through i-PRO’s authorized partner network. Installers are required to complete training and certification to ensure proper setup and support.

More information about the system is available at i-PRO’s website.
