NDI has launched the NDI Professional Course, an on-demand training program designed to help AV professionals deepen their expertise in AV-over-IP workflows. Available now through the NDI Connected Community, the course equips users to design, deploy and optimize advanced NDI systems.

Building on the foundational NDI Basics Course, the NDI Professional Course is part of a broader initiative to provide certified training to the company’s global user base. It’s ideal for professionals seeking official recognition as NDI experts and looking to scale their use of NDI in professional environments.

“We see a lot of content about NDI technology and workflows, and we appreciate our ecosystem’s enthusiasm,” said Roberto Musso, technical director at NDI. “However, some of this information can be outdated or technically inaccurate. It’s important to have a single, trusted source of truth — especially for professional use. That’s why we’ve introduced the NDI Professional Course: to help our community become more knowledgeable and skilled with NDI.”

Connected Community members can access the course for a one-time fee of $25, which includes all future updates. Graduates receive the NDI Professional Certificate signed by Musso and earn 3.5 AVIXA renewal units (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I and ANP). The course features workflow walkthroughs and real-world use cases, with flexible, self-paced access.

The NDI Basics Course remains free for all users. While the Professional Course offers more advanced certification (3.5 RUs compared to 2.25 RUs for Basics), completion of the Basics Course is not required. Additional courses focused on NDI Tools and specific applications are currently in development.
