Screen Innovations Adds V-Screen Retention System to Its KAOS Line of Shades
Screen Innovations (SI) has enhanced its KAOS Outdoor Shades, now incorporating popular features from its Zen Outdoor Shades line and increasing the maximum shade width from 20 feet to 24 feet.
KAOS—short for Kick Ass Outdoor Shades—is built around SI’s patented V-Screen Retention System. This system features a Teflon-coated V-Screen wheel and constant-force springs that offer increased flexibility during installation while delivering a tighter hold in windy conditions. These improvements make the shades even more effective and easier to install in challenging outdoor environments.
Designed with durability in mind, KAOS shades use hurricane-resistant Kevlar fabric and are now available with either a box or pocket cassette enclosure, both offered in multiple colors to complement outdoor décor.
The updated KAOS shades also visually match SI’s indoor Nano, Niño, and Origami shade lines, and share the same power and control options—making it easier to create cohesive indoor-outdoor shading solutions.
