Vision Shows Simple Amp for Classrooms
UK-based Vision has a new AV-1600 amplifier that offers four stereo RCA inputs and a balanced XLR microphone input (with phantom power) and outputs line-level (RCA).
Designed as a “ceiling amplifier,” an IEC power pass-through allows the amp and a projector to share a single power socket in the ceiling. Because this can cause a buzz or “hum” being so close to a projector, a ground-lift switch has been added. It includes mounting ears to mount the amp to a wall, on a projector ceiling pole, or in a rack.
Because it’s new, it’s not on the company’s website yet. However, when it is, it will be here: http://www.visionaudiovisual.com/techaudio/
