Sony and NoviSign have expanded their long-standing collaboration, adding Zero Touch Provisioning and deeper integration with Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays and the AITRIOS platform to simplify large-scale digital signage deployments.

The enhanced integration is designed to reduce deployment time, lower operational costs and support more sustainable digital signage networks across corporate, retail and education environments. By combining Sony’s professional display hardware and edge computing technology with NoviSign’s cloud-based content management system, the companies aim to make digital signage easier to deploy and manage at scale.

A key addition in the new phase of the partnership is full support for Zero Touch Provisioning. The feature allows IT administrators and system integrators to remotely configure and deploy large fleets of BRAVIA Professional Displays without manual setup. Displays can be configured, have NoviSign CMS installed and be made operational out of the box, with installation completed by scanning a QR code shown at startup. According to the companies, this automation accelerates rollouts while reducing transportation, packaging waste and on-site labor.

“Our collaboration with NoviSign continues to evolve in ways that deliver measurable benefits for customers,” said Thorsten Prsybyl, European retail sales manager for Sony Professional Displays and Solutions Europe. “By combining the processing power and energy efficiency of Sony’s BRAVIA platform with NoviSign’s robust CMS and Zero Touch Provisioning, we’re offering a truly streamlined approach to digital signage — one that saves time, resources, and energy across the lifecycle of each deployment.”

In parallel, NoviSign is integrating Sony’s AITRIOS platform, which enables edge AI processing directly within the sensor system. The integration allows NoviSign to expand its digital signage capabilities beyond content playback to include audience analytics, real-time engagement insights and contextual content adjustment.

“Adding AITRIOS to our collaboration opens a new chapter,” said Gil Matzliah, CEO of NoviSign. “We’re now combining Sony’s world-class display and edge AI technology with our flexible CMS, giving our customers not just digital signage, but intelligent communication systems that can adapt dynamically to their environment. It’s a huge opportunity to make digital engagement more meaningful — and more efficient.”

NoviSign’s CMS has supported Android-based devices for years, making it natively compatible with Sony’s Android-powered BRAVIA Professional Displays without the need for external media players. This approach has enabled organizations to manage content centrally while reducing hardware complexity.

The collaboration has already been deployed in environments such as the University of Florida, where Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays paired with NoviSign’s CMS were used to deliver campus-wide digital signage. Remote management capabilities reduced the need for on-site maintenance while contributing to lower energy consumption and reduced waste.

NoviSign works with more than 250 system integrators worldwide, including long-term partners in Japan and an established presence across Europe, the United States and Latin America. The companies said these partner networks will play a key role in scaling adoption as demand grows for intelligent and sustainable digital signage.
